Description

Antique "DROSTE'S CACAO & CHOCOLADEFABRIEKEN N.V." (translates "DROSTE'S COCOA & CHOCOLATE FACTORIES N.V.") 1/10kg Dutch nurse cocoa tin 1900's HOLLAND (THE NETHERLANDS). Small sized, square shaped. Hinged lid. 1/10kg (100g). Red and light green with accents. Front has Royal crest of Queen Widow Emma, back has commercial badge with 14 gold medals. Both sides depicts a nurse from the 1900's. Front reads as follows: "Droste's Cacao N.V. Droste's Cacao & Chocoladefabrieken, Haarlem, Holland." Made in Haarlem, Holland (The Netherlands) in 1900's-20's. Early example. Very rare. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
