Description

Vintage "SPARTAN CHEMICAL INCORPORATED" chemical cardboard fibre storage advertising drum barrel 1950's. Cylindrical, would have had canvas handles. Pressed cardboard / fibre with metal base and canvas strapping. Toffee brown stained with yellow painted accents. Hand painted on the front and back reads as follows: "Use Spartan super floor gloss and applicator." Stamps on the base reads as follows: "SP" and "B 1/313" Would have been used in a general store or grocery store as a storage counter top display / advertisement for floor gloss. Likely made in America in 1950's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

Excellent Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition.
