Vintage SNK wind-up celluloid Playing Dog clockwork toy JAPAN 1940's boxed EVC

Vintage "S. N. K." wind-up celluloid tin Playing Dog clockwork toy. The Scotty puppy dog is celluloid, grey and white wearing a gold collar. He is playing with a tin litho dark brown boot / shoe. Clockwork motor, key wound. Comes in original box and key. Stamped on base reads as follows: "Made in occupied Japan." Made in Occupied Japan in 1940's. Extremely rare and highly sought after. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.

Excellent Antique-Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Minor loss of litho on boot / shoe. Comes with original box and key. Mechanically, in excellent working condition.
