Vintage "SHELL CHEMICAL (AUSTRALIA) PTY LTD" Grafting Mastic horticultural grease yellow paper 1lbs tin can 1920's. Medium, cylindrical and lidded. Paper label, yellow with red, black and white accents. No patent number. "An excellent waterproof sealing medium for all horticultural purposes, and particularly suitable for the sealing of large wounds and for root grafting of nursery trees." Extremely rare and highly sought after esp with paper label and contents. Made in Australia in 1920's-40's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

Very Good Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Wear, scratches, rust, dings and dents. Opened most contents.
