Vintage "MODERK TOYS" wind-up tin xylophone player clockwork toy. Celluloid man on a tin base with tin xylophone. He wears a blue tailcoat suit with tuxedo slacks with red stripe, white shirt, white waistcoat and pink bow tie with matching boutonnière. The xylophone is made of joined metal, cream base and red keys. Clockwork motor, key wound. Loose, unboxed. Stamped on base reads as follows: "Made in occupied Japan." Made in Occupied Japan in 1950's. Extremely rare and highly sought after. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.

Excellent Antique-Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Minor wear overall. Comes with original key. Mechanically, in good working condition though greatly assisted by a gentle nudge from the operator. May be refurbished at buyer's discretion.
