Vintage "THE GONG BELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY" wooden Poodle Pup #365 14.5" pull-along toy 1930's. Solid wood pull-along toy. Depicting an elongated Poodle pup. Coloured paper affixed on both sides. On wooden wheels with steel axels, attached with steel pins. Black cardboard shaped in feet covering wheels. Poodle Pup is wearing a yellow collar. His identifying tag reads as follows: "365 Poodle Pup. Gong Bell Mfg Co. Copyright H.D.A." and on other side: "365 Poodle Pup. Made in U.S.A." "The Gong Bell Manufacturing Company" were in business from 1866 and went out of business in 1960's. They specialised in producing wooden toys. Made in East Hampton, Connecticut, America in 1938. Sourced within Stonnington.

Good Vintage Condition. Age spots, wear and fading to paper and wood. Part of wood to front left hand wheel broken off, exposing axle, causing wheel to wobble a bit, but does not effect functionality too much. A vintage string is tied around Poodle Pup's neck.
