Vintage "E.K. QUALITY TOYS" ("E. K. QUALITÄTSSPIELZEUG") lacing / threading wooden toy beads boxed 1950's. Original coloured (X2 black, x9 green, X8 navy blue, X9 pink, X6 yellow, X2 brown and X6 beige) circular and cylindrical wooden beads (X43 in total) in red original box.
Would have been used for early childhood educators for toddlers as a tool for teaching hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, patience, counting as well as shapes and colour as beads were threaded / laced onto accompanied string / yarn.
Made in West-Germany in 1950's, likely 1952-1955. Very rare and desirable to come with original box. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
Very Good Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Box has considerable damage, label picture complete. Set is missing X2 beads and original string / yarn.

This is a very old toy, manufactured when toy standards were not as stringent as they are today. Therefore, this beading set is sold as a collectible for adult enjoyment only, not for children.
