Vintage dark brown sgraffito pottery squat vase / jar hand thrown 1970's AUSTRALIA. Medium sized, jar shaped. Hand thrown squat vase / jar with tapered neck and lip on opening. Rough, textured, sgraffito design on front and back of body. Dark brown body with light brown exposed through sgraffito, bronze highlights on glaze. Textured, glazed finish. Mid-century modern style. Signed by the artist and numbered on the base but both are illegible. Made in Australia in 1970's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
