Vintage ceramic tiled top coffee games table mid-century modern 1970's AUSTRALIA. Rectangular. Chunky wooden pine frame, stained and varnished finish with original patina. Legs are built into frame and protrude table top height. Ceramic tile top inset. Light brown star burst design with off-centre checker tiles (X64). Suitable to play chess, checkers and draughts. Tiles likely an after-market add on, as was a popular home hobby. Checker tiles possibly a later addition. Glossy finish. Solid and heavy. Mid-century modern, Italian style. Made in Australia in 1960's-70's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
