Vintage brown orange crackle glass clay pottery bowl signed 1970's AUSTRALIA. Medium sized, round shaped. Very heavy for size, base appears to be thick. Dark browns glazing over natural brown clay. Dark brown and orange fused crackle glass on inner bowl. White drip glaze on rim. Rustic, textured, high gloss glazed finish. Perhaps could be used as an ashtray or trinket catch-all bowl. Hand thrown. Mid-century modern style. Signed. Artist's incised signature on base reads as follows: "V.V." Made in Australia in 1970's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

Excellent Vintage Condition. No chips or cracks, pitting to glass crackle but appears to be from manufacturing.
