Antique solid brass Egyptian sphinx inkwell engraved etched lidded 1890's FRANCE. Cast brass. Sculpture of a sphinx. Engraved / etched design with pyramids. Lidded with hinged opening. Head is weighted. Rustic patina, left unpolished. Egyptian Revival style. Made in France in 1890's-1920's. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.
