Description

Antique-Vintage "SCHUCO" wind-up tin clown violin playing clockwork toy. Tin based clown wears an orange felt jacket and two-tone brown fabric pants with polka dots and a blue beret hat. A white ribbon (not original) is tied around his neck. His face is hand painted. Clockwork motor, key wound. Loose, unboxed. Stamped on interior foot reads as follows: "Schuco patent - made in Germany." Made in Germany in 1920's-30's. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.

Good Antique-Vintage Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Unoriginal neck ribbon. Wear and tear esp face and right ear. Comes with original key. Mechanically, in excellent working condition though sometimes assisted by a gentle nudge from the operator. May be refurbished at buyer's discretion.
