Antique "AUSTRALIA NEWS FROM HOME" coloured engraving block print by H. S. (HARDEN SIDNEY) MELVILLE processed (engraved, printed and published) on paper by print maker GEORGE BAXTER. Depiction of immigration during Colonial times in Sydney, Australia. Embossed publishing stamp on front. Hidden by frame reads as follows: "Australia News From Home Designed by H.S. Melville and Engraved, Printed & Published by G. Baxter Patentee, 11 & 12 Northampton Square, Jan 31 1853 Entered at Stationers Hall." Beautiful burl walnut framed and mounted with glass and is ready to be hung. Printed in 1853. Realism style. Limited edition. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

Good Antique Condition, wear to frame.
