Antique "THE KICKING DONKEY" target parlour game Gleven Games Roberts Brothers 1920's ENGLAND. Die-cut target parlour game with original wooden ball targets. The target device is set by pulling the cord. This raises the internal target board to the higher position. The target board rests on an internal ledge. When the Donkey is hit by a wooden ball, the board is dislodged and drops to reveal the kicking hind legs. Instructions on the underside of the lid. Made by "GLEVEN GAMES" with Roberts Brothers in Gloucester, England in 1920's. Extremely rare and highly sought after. Museum piece. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
