Antique bronze lion laying down sculpture figural paperweight 1890's FRANCE. Cast bronze, hallow. Sculpture or figural paperweight. In the figure of a lion laying down. Holes on the bottom suggest it was mounted to a marble base. Would have been used as a paperweight. Heavy for its size. Rustic, distressed, original patina finish. Unmarked. Made in France in 1890's-1920's. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.
