Description

Antique black coffee kaffee general store storage tin 15" 1900's. Cylindrical, lidded. Black with metal accents. Writing on front reads as follows: "Kaffe." (=coffee in German) in an ornate script font with bands near top and base. May have been gold stencilled but is raw tin with rusted patina. Approx 15" heigh. Would have been used in a general store as a storage container. Unbranded and unmarked. Likely made in Germany in early 1900's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

Very Good Antique Condition. Sold in as-found condition. Considerable dings and dents, scratches, and rust.
